dataDriver Named Finalist in 2001 MIMC Awards

Miller Systems’ dataDriver Suite was named a finalist in the MIMC Awards 2001 today. The MIMC Awards, presented annually by the Massachusetts Interactive Media Council (MIMC), is New England’s premiere interactive media awards competition.

Winning a MIMC Award is the highest honor given exclusively to companies and professionals in New England for the creation of web sites, titles and technologies. The MIMC Awards, among the largest and most prestigious awards competition of its kind, is a celebration of the creative and technological accomplishments emerging from New England.

dataDriver, a suite of focused tools for accelerating companies, is a finalist in the Enterprise Application category. dataDriver’s three modules – Press Room, Job Board, and ePush, deliver the critical core content, messaging, surveying, recruiting, and community management functions the vast majority of web sites and companies need. dataDriver empowers non-technical staff — zero HTML or programming required – to control these key areas and functions within their web sites.

Seth Miller, CEO and President of Miller Systems, conducted a live demonstration and fielded questions from venture capitalists, analysts, and industry experts who participated as judges in the Enterprise Applications category. Finalists were judged on achievement of objectives, effectiveness for intended audience or user, interface usability, overall aesthetics, creative excellence, and use of technology and/or technical innovation.

The 6th Annual MIMC Awards will take place at the Boston Copley Place Marriott on Monday, October 15th, 2001. Last year’s ceremony, hosted by Penn Gillette of Penn and Teller, was attended by a sold-out audience of 1,300 industry professionals.
